This document provides an overview of the ways you can get in contact with the Kubuntu Project, whether it is for support or if you are looking to contribute.
Table of Contents
There are currently two ways in order to make contact with the Kubuntu Project, mailing lists (e-mail) and Internet Relay Chat (IRC). IRC is a form of real-time communication, and is the quickest way to communicate with the Kubuntu Project
One of the main tools that the Kubuntu Project utilizes for communicating are mailing lists. Mailing lists allow for discussion using e-mail.
Subscribe First
In order to properly use the mailing lists, it is recommended that you subscribe to the list you are interested in. Subscribing allows you to post a message without having it sit in a queue to be authorized and it also allows you to receive messages from others who are also subscribed to the mailing list.
Check the archive first
Prior to sending a message, you can check to see if the topic has been raised in the past, in the following sections a link will also be made available for you to view.
