 Changing the Server Authorizations 

A server authorization is an authorization that enables a user to execute certain commands in the Database Manager. A server authorization may cover more than one command and one command may have more than one server authorization assigned to it.

You can use the Database Manager to change the server authorizations of the Database Manager operator (DBM operator) and the database system administrator (SYSDBA user).

Prerequisites

You have the User Management server authorization.

Procedure

1.       Choose Instance ® Configuration ® Users.

2.       Select a user.

3.       Choose Action ® Server Rights.

4.       On the Server Rights tab page, you can now increase or limit the server authorizations of the selected user by selecting or deselecting the required authorizations.
