 Displaying the Data for All Volume Parameters 

Use

You display the data for all volumes of a database instance.

Prerequisites

You have the server authorization ParamRead.

Syntax

param_getvolsall [<vol_mode>]

Options

<vol_mode>

Type of the volume

Option <vol_mode>

DATA

Data Volume; the number of the data volume is assigned by the system as a four-digit number with leading zeros when creating the volume

LOG

Log Volume; the number of the log volume is assigned by the system as a three-digit number with leading zeros when creating the volume

MLOG

Mirrored log volume (see also: Log Mode)

Log on to the Database Manager CLI as the operator DBM with the password DBM, create a connection to the database instance myDB, display the data for all volumes of the type DATA

dbmcli -u dbm,dbm -d myDB param_getvolsall DATA

DATAVOL_0001       10000      F  DAT_001
DATAVOL_0002       11000      F  DAT_002

Reply

The system displays a list the data for the volumes.

Values for the Fields of the Reply

<parameter_name>

Name of a database parameter relevant for volumes

<value>

Value of the parameter

<volume>

Volume ID

<vol_name>

Name of volume/file of the volume

<vol_type>

Type of volume (such as file, raw device)

<vol_size>

Size of the volume
