If you
have performed an rpm installation of the Web Tools software, start the MaxDB
Web Server with the command
/etc/rc.d/sdb-web
start
To
stop the server, use the command
/etc/rc.d/sdb-web
stop
Start the Web Server as follows:

Set the
environment variable
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. To do this, enter the following command:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=<independent_program_path>/web/lib:
<independent_program_path>/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
2. Switch to the directory <independent_program_path>/web/pgm.
3. Enter the following command: ./wahttp
wahttp [-f <file>] [&] [-h]
· You can use the call parameter -f <file> to specify a configuration file other than the file WebAgent75.ini. For <file>, specify the path and file name of the chosen configuration file.
· You can use the call parameter & to start the Web Server in the background.
· You can use the call parameter -h to display all call options.
To use a configuration file other than the file WebAgent75.ini, you can also change the specification of the configuration file in the file <independent_program_path>/web/pgm/wahttp.conf.
When you start the Web Server, the Web Tools are automatically made available as Web Server Services.
Access to the Web Server is logged if you have enabled logging when Configuring the MaxDB Web Server.
