You terminate the parameter session. All of the changes and corrections made to database parameters in this session are rejected. The internal data structures in which the contents of the description file and the parameter file were stored are removed (see also: Configuring Database Instances).
If you change values without a parameter session, that is, directly in the parameter file (Make direct changes with param_directput and delete directly with param_directdel), the changes are immediately written to the parameter file, that is, they cannot be rejected.
You have opened a parameter session.
You have the server authorization ParamRead.
param_abortsession
