 Calling the Database Manager GUI 

To call the Database Manager GUI program, we recommend that you choose Start ® Programs ® MySQL MaxDB®Database Manager or that you use an appropriate shortcut.

In exceptional cases, you can call the Database Manager GUI (dbmgui<n>.exe, where n is a program version counter) from the command line. To do this, go to the directory of the program dbmgui<n>.exe and enter the following command:

dbmgui<n> [<options>]

Options

Display all command line options

-?

Database name

-d <database_name>

Name of the database computer

-n <database_server>

Opening a database session specifying operator data (operator name and password)

-u <user_name>,[<password>]

Open the configuration file

-f <file_name>

Window for entering connection details

-prompt

Database Manager GUI version

-version

Call the Database Manager without initial screen display

-nologo

Activate database trace

-trace
