The primary table contains a LONG column. The numerical column defines the length of the LONG field for each line. There is one B* tree for the primary data, another for short LONG type data, and multiple B* trees for other long LONG type data.
The primary table contains a fixed-length reference to the contents of the LONG field in each row. This reference points uniquely to the storage location of the contents of the LONG field, either as a key to a B* tree (short LONG) or as the table ID of one of the multiple B* trees (long LONG).
